Living Life in Quotes

I'm sure you've been either highly annoyed or part of the 'Keep Calm and ...' phase. I have to admit I'm part of the highly annoyed gang. Only because too much of a good thing becomes a boredom thing for me. However, I visited one of my favourite blogging sites recently namely, xanga.com. This site especially has amazing blog sites that features quotes and images. It made me wonder how different our lives would be if we lived our lives in quotes. Do need restraint and limits in our lives or has the boundaries we've placed upon ourselves shadowed our inner fears?

What would happen if you walked down the beach in that string bikini with a body seen less than perfect in your mind?
What if we wore that trendy skirt that might not fit your body type or skin colour or your timid personality?
What if you kept Calm and saw life as one big adventure?

I Think that perhaps it would do some of us a whole lot of good, me included. My husband always calls me a stressball. And his completely right. I've been stressing all my life thinking that it actually helps me deal with deadlines. I worry about the the littlelest things and most of all the unknown.

No, I'm not about to make some lame, untrue declaration that I will stop worrying and stressing. I am a realist after all. Nevertheless, I will try to choose the importance of what I am stressing or worrying about. Like maybe that friend wo's never present or that extra chocolate block is not a major stress factor in my life. But that job promotion, that long- life dream and the fulfillment of it, IS.

Some quotes... One for everyday of the week.

Pretty Messy's Chosen Quotes for the Week

Monday- Do not regret growing older, it is a privilege denied by many- Unknown

Tuesday- Sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of Insane Courage and 20 seconds of Embarassing Courage

Wednesday- Wake up every morning with the thought that something wonderful is going to happen

Thursday- The trick is to enjoy life. Stop wishing for better days ahead.

Friday- Dress like you've made something of yourself, even if you haven't

Saturday- Try to learn to breathe deeply, really to taste the food when you eat, and when you sleep, really sleep. Try as much as possible to be wholly alive with all your might, and when you laugh, laugh like hell. And when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive.” - Ernest Hemingway

Sunday-
If you want to forget something or someone, never hate it, and never hate him or her. Everything and everyone that you hate is engraved upon your heart; if you want to let go of something, if you want to forget, you cannot hate.

Good Luck!

Regards,
Pretty Messy Wife and Mom :)
