The Year 2012

- Recap

2012 proved to be a year of challenges and achievements. From becoming a wife to Graduating in December and giving birth 3 days later. One of the biggest challenges was completing my degree whilst my belly kept growing and growing. Anyone who has been to the University of Cape Town in South Africa will know that going from class to class requires an enormous amount of stairs. Although it allows you to skip the gym, it does test your sanity considerably.

Getting my Bachelor Degree in the circumstances that I did made me realise that we as humans underestimate ourselves. Had I been given the choice to finish my degree at a later stage and given in to either laziness or a negative mindset I would not have been standing at the ceremony with all my friends and felt proud that I achieved the near impossible.

This year I hope to achieve more goals...
I want to be the best possible wife and mother
I want to get a job in the field that I have studied
I want to not only start dancing again but take choreography to the next level

What are your goals for 2013? What have you achieved in 2012 that you are proud of?

The quote for 2013 that I hope to live by is: Do One Thing That Scares You Everyday -Eleanor Roosevelt
