Shut Your Face, Lady.

Everyone has had that moment where someone annoys the living crap out of you. And your left with a argument in your head whereby you hadn't said one word out loud. I had one of those yesterday. Besides looking really young, I am incredibly short. Rome is becoming a huge baby. So when my Husband I are walking with Rome the looks we attract are quite interesting. Anyway, we went to the mall to get some things for Rome and My Husband was keeping Rome because I can keep him 20 min max before my arms feel like giving in. As we get into the car, My Husband pulls out the car with Rome pretending he can drive which is what he usually does and then he hands Rome over to me when he decides to be all Fast and The Furious [he is one active baby, I tell you]. And in the rear view mirror a lady with a parrot looking hairstyle is shaking her head and saying, ''No, my baby''. First of all, I don't care who you are. If you are NOT my mother or father or husband do NOT put your life in danger by calling other people's children ''My Baby'' Sometimes older individuals do that without realizing how undermining it is. I won't continue the story here, but I would say how I felt about it. I am a YOUNG mother not a STUPID mother. And I have to admit, God forgive me that I was extremely close to yelling out the car window ''Shut Your Face, Lady''.

There have been many people, some younger than ME. That seem to feel I had asked their advice on how to  be a mom. Keep your top ten tips on how to burp a baby or your teething/ pooping advice. I did not ask for it. Nor do i need it. The whole point of Mother Hood is bonding through experiences and learning things you didn't know. This one lady thought it was somehow fault that Rome did not want to breastfeed anymore. Again, [in my head] Shut Your Face, Lady. It's nice to have friends and family who have had babies recently, its makes you feel understood. It is however, really annoying when the wise and knowledgeable share arrogantly their findings.

Question?
When my Son was in hospital and I got up every 2 hours when he cried or it was his feeding/ medicine session.
Where were you?
Shut. It. Down.

I get there are people and most of the time young people who fail to take up responsibility and hardly glance at their children. However, it does not give you the right to judge me through that veil. No My Baby, mind your own business and Shut ...

Now if only I had yelled out the window...
