Sister Stylin' 2

This is the second outfit I chose for my sister. This cobalt blue is huge this winter. So is every other jeweled- tone hue. I'm in a space of waiting for life- changing news. Obviously it has to be kept under wraps till all is official. Yet good or bad I am thankful for every opportunity that comes my way. Usually unexpectedly.

I am constantly thinking about how to make the blog experience better for Pretty Messy Readers. So pop me a suggestion via email. I love hearing any feedback you guys may have.

Sister Stylin'

This is my older sister, Colleen. She is a self- proclaimed shoe addict. A few years back I counted her high- heels alone and it totaled at 65! I styled her myself which what I do a number of times except this time she didn't change a thing. Which is what she usually does. I've been dying for summer ... even spring. I can't wait for it to be warm enough for a breezy dress and some flat sandals.

Suit and Tie

This outfit was featured on the blog a while back but not with heels.

And not in collaboration with Amy. The jacket in these photos is my most favorite jacket and I've had it for ages. I've been having so much fun on Lookbook.nu , a site where bloggers mostly share their style. I've conversed with a bunch of interesting people all around the world. What's not to love about that?

People's Person

I love photographing people. Everyone is so different. The smiles, the ''I'm a boss'' face are brilliant moments to capture. I'm definitely working towards taking photography even more seriously. But this specific hobby is a tad bit expensive. 
The pictures are not the best quality. My camera died on me so bare with me.

These are a couple of shots that Amy and I did on the infamous rooftop. Amy took the shots, I was the''creative director''. Too much fun. Loyiso was our model of the day. She understands fashion as you can see. Even though she is not a model, it was super easy working with her. She took direction very well. Photography is my new found love.

Slight Reunion

Our singing group had a slight reunion today. It was a good one, why wouldn't it be? Laughing, Singing, Sinful Snacks and lunch made by my Husband (Yes, he cooks goooood). I'm quite enthusiastic to explore that creative side of mine. Usually it is dancing that takes up most of my interest in arts. Whilst singing I noticed that my voice is even huskier. Not sure where that came from...

Motorcycles and Trains

Hectic Day! Amy and I hosted lunch for our building. Amy cooks amazing food, I played waiter which was the safest option for our customers. Nevertheless, I made Chocolate Mint Muffins with a caramel and sprinkles topping. It was a hit! Today we decided to shoot at the fence as a train station is right behind our building and there was some motorcycles standing nearby, we looked at it as we passed it and we were like YES.

Hope all the Pretty Messy Followers are having a great week because... well... tomorrow is FRIDAY :)

A Week of Style with Amy- Roof Top Edition

Day 2 With Amy. Had the shoot on the roof of our workplace. I especially like the visual on these photos. Passing trains, Mountain in the background, Industrial looking building is my thing. Amy opted for a dress and coat combo today. Love the mix of red, orange, green with black as basic.

Partner in Crime at my work and a great dresser. Besides the normal style icons, I feel real people dress WAY better. I would describe her style as edgy, daring and quirky (she wears cream soda bottle top earrings 10/10)

Plum Runner

The weekend was super special. Rome's christening took place yesterday and my Husband and I had a 9 monthiversary. Even though you seem present each and everyday, time still catches up with you. Your left wondering, was Rome really that big yesterday or is it my imagination? I love being a mother. I'm quite courageous when it comes to comes to being myself. I found out ages ago, trying to be someone else not only sucks completely but its highly impossible and your only going to make yourself unhappy. But being a mother makes you proud of who you are. Makes you do things that you always thought of but never had the time to do. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

Birthday Weekend- The Series Part 3

We did so many fun things the Saturday . From the Stalls Market to the Ice Cream shop to the Book store in Gordon's Bay. Highly recommended: Bikini Books Book store. It has pillar high books in like a hundred different rooms. I was so lost. It is a second hand book store so you can get a number of books at a very affordable price. Sadly, this will be the last post on my weekend away. But I have so many other things to share as well.
